Moorecroft

The Moorecroft Collection is rooted in the meeting place of stone, forest, and sea.

Inspired by the shoreline at Moorecroft, these works reflect the deep blue of tidal water, the mineral whites and greys of weathered rock, and the warm copper and gold notes that recall cedar, fir, and light caught along the coast. Each shell interprets a different mood of the same landscape, from quiet tidal pools to fractured basalt, from still water to the last glow of evening across wet stone.

Rather than depicting the shoreline literally, the Moorecroft Collection translates its atmosphere into movement, depth, and colour. Each piece is a small fragment of place, shaped by the memory of the Salish Sea.
