ECLIPSE

Eclipse begins where darkness and light meet. Black, charcoal and mineral grey move across the shells like shadow passing over a luminous surface, while gold appears in seams, arcs and sudden flashes. Some pieces suggest a corona at the edge of an obscured sun; others carry the quieter impression of light travelling beneath stone or deep water. Across the collection, darkness is not emptiness. It is the field that gives illumination its intensity and shape. At its heart: obscured light, revelation, and the beauty made visible at the edge of shadow.
